![]() You can also check the game's wiki for more info on earning money, combat, etc. ![]() Also, if you ever find Vossk Organs, buy as many as you can immediately, as they are the most expensive item in the game. If they organs and implants don't show up anymore, just keep going back and forth, they should eventually "restock." You might also consider saving and restarting the game, as this refreshes item vendors, IIRC. And Kaamo club is a must-buy if you're into the game, even if you don't plan on getting the other two DLCs.ĮDIT2: I don't believe it is actually possible to "exhaust" a station of supplies. Besides, Valkyrie does offer some great new star systems, stations, and very useful weapons and equipment that you just can't miss. Supernova is better than Valkyrie, but it also incorporates elements of Valkyrie in its storyline, so I believe you'll need Valkyrie to play it. So, in summary, yes, I think all the DLC is worth it. Just keep in mind that since it’s still a freemium app, there will be in-game purchases and ads that you need to unlock with real money. So Android gamers can easily pick it up without having to pay for the game. I don't know how much average items cost without the discount, so I'm afraid I can't help you there. And speaking of which, Galaxy on Fire 2 HD is also currently free on the Google Play Store. The discount is less important, but the Kaamo space lounge is the only place in the galaxy that sells certain high-tier weapons, equipment, and upgrades for your current ship. This makes it very useful for crafting new equipment and weapons, and for gathering resources, since now you can buy a cargo ship without selling your nimble fighter. It does suck that Fishlabs didn't include it in the base game, but with Kaamo station you'll be able to store as many ships, weapons, equipment, and items as you want. Personally, I think it's an excellent deal. Now, unless you have 30 million credits and 50 (I think it was 50) tons of Buskat, you'll have to buy it yourself. Plus, the top four bounties all have unique, top-tier ships that you can purchase once they are defeated. In the end it just becomes another simple fight, but it's a nice feature that I think adds a bit more life to the game. ![]() Supernova also adds a Bounty system, which has you chasing down fugitives throughout the galaxy, tracing their flight routes and trying to corner them in a star system. ![]() And Supernova adds a wealthy variety of very impressive and cool looking ships, along with some impressive new locales. Valkyrie's ships aren't as cool looking but they do incorporate the Kaador drive into their design, freeing up an equipment slot. I will say, however, that the extra ships and items you can get make them worth it. For instance, in one mission you have to land on and hack a Vossk Battleship, which was pretty interesting. The storyline isn't anything to write home about, but they do offer some pretty interesting missions. ![]()
